of Manufacture of HP Instruments

I receive many inquiries about how to determing the date of
manufacture of a particular HP instrument. So on this
section of the web site I will offer information that may
help. I am also asking people who visit this site and have
a vintage instrument to send me information as described on the
pages. This information will be put into a database and
eventually I will be able to post a serial number guide to the
date of manufacture.
